last Monday, we pitched our final project plan to Stifterverband (the German Donors’ Association). we explained why we believe privacy-preserving computation should be available to all and how we plan to build a middleware that lowers barriers.
today, Stifterverband announced that indeed Federated Secure Computing is one of ten projects to share one million Euros in funding for the next three years. they declared our project one of ‘the ten best ideas to shape the German innovation, education, and science system’.
the team is absolutely happy that our project can go on as planned. during the next three years we will make simple, affordable, and accessible privacy-preserving computation a reality for all institutions, companies, and individuals. thank you, Stifterverband, we promise to make you proud.
